A little boy wanted $100.00 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened.

Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100.00.

When the postal authorities received the letter to God, USA, they decided to send it to the President.

The president was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5.00 bill. The president thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.

The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 bill and sat down to write a thank-you note to God, which read:

Dear God: Thank you very much for sending the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you sent it through Washington,D.C., and those assholes deducted $95.00 in taxes.

Hello Guys.. I wanted to give a heads up... tonight at about midnight California time I am going to close down the server for about 15 to 30 minutes. I have some hardware that I have to add and set up.

As they say.. it's upgrade... upgrade... upgrade all the time. But it has been over 2 years since I did a hardware update.

So I guess it's time for our computor Guru to stop over and give it an enema. :banghead: :banghead:

I've run every Anti-whatever and Defragged and Registry fixed and what got it working to this point, finally is when I ran the Error Check. I've got it to working "for the moment" but can't be sure it'll keep up so if I post a photo and it doesn't work...that's why. :salute: :salute:

I hope faster then ever.

Give my best to Butch... and Miss Joan .. you give my best to the Old Man.. Jaymes.. I guess we are both getting to be old men.

Well, guess the site isn't fixed yet! Just composed a letter to Chuck that it WAS my computor as it messed up an hour or two after I left the site. Let's see if this posts. I wrote the post, tried to go to manage attachments and it told me I wasn't signed in (I was) and then when I tried again to get back to the Photo site, it told me this is an invalid site. Please report to the administrator. Bye...I'll try later if'n it isn't too late.

Oh Hell...I'll try to post a pict now anyway.

Well it looks like maybe this will post. Chuck, it really wasn't the website being down that affected our 'putor. O.K? I knew it (Marine Chat) was down when I went to it earlier. Our 'putor went absolutely crazy, the screen flashing and flipping like the old vertical hold would do on an old T.V. if you cranked it all the way. It took some doing to be able to run the Anti viruses, we have three, Registry Fix, Adaware and all such things trying to find the problem and when I ran error check, it took a very long time, much much longer than the first time I ever ran it, but when it was done, our computor was instantly fixed. Love you all, God Bless

LOOK'S COLD TOOOOOOOOOOO COLD I NEED TO WARM UP MY HEART..

GOODNESS

By: Joseph J. Mazzella

I always try everyday to catch my children doing something good and thank them for it. I find it to be one of the easiest things in the world to do. I usually get to do it many times each day too, because my children are so wonderful. The main reason I do this, however, is not to reinforce their good behavior, but rather to remind them of just how good they really are.

Most of us never realize just how good we really are. We think that goodness is something reserved for saints and never see it within ourselves. The truth is that most of us are full of goodness, full of kindness, full of love, and full of joy. Most of us spend our days helping people, doing good things for others, and making this world a better place. Most of us live our lives doing our best to bring joy to this world, to share love with each other, and to be one with God. Most of us are far more good than we would ever admit.

Don?t deny the goodness within you then. God loves us all. God created us all. And God doesn?t make junk. Look deep within your heart and soul and notice the goodness that lies there. See it there shining bright, bring it out, and give it to the world. Share it as you open the door for a stranger, smile at the person you pass on the street, and give a compliment to a coworker. Use it as you hug your children, share a laugh with a friend, and give some of your money to help those in need. Express it as you push a child on a swing, shovel the snow from a neighbor?s driveway, and forgive someone who has hurt you. Delight in it as you pass along a kind word, share a beautiful story, and sing a lovely song. Work with it as you extend a helping hand, give someone a pat on the back, and encourage someone who is having a hard time. Rejoice in it as you use everyday to help others, use every choice to create love and joy, and use every moment to live the way that God meant for you to live.

Cold or warm, freezing or hot, that's what we get living where we do but the beauty is worth it.

No neighbors peering into our back yard, no loud traffic sounds, just the lonely whistle of a train now and then, the call of a wolf or wind in the pines. What can I say?

It was Molly's job to hand her father his brown paper lunch bag
each morning before he headed off to work. One morning, in addition
to his usual lunch bag, Molly handed him a second paper bag. This
one was worn and held together with duct tape, staples, and paper
clips.

"Why two bags?" her father asked.

"The other is something else," Molly answered.

"What's in it?"

"Just some stuff. Take it with you."

Not wanting to hold court over the matter, he stuffed both sacks
into his briefcase, kissed Molly and rushed off. At midday, while
hurriedly scarfing down his real lunch, he tore open Molly's bag
and shook out the contents: two hair ribbons, three small stones,
a plastic dinosaur, a pencil stub, a tiny sea shell, two animal
crackers, a marble, a used lipstick, a small doll, two chocolate
kisses, and 13 pennies.

The busy father smiled, finished eating, and swept the desk clean-
into the wastebasket- leftover lunch, Molly's junk and all.

That evening, Molly ran up behind him as he read the paper.

"Where's my bag?"

"What bag?"

"You know, the one I gave you this morning."

"I left it at the office. Why?"

"I forgot to put this note in it," she said. "And, besides, those
are my things in the sack, Daddy, the ones I really like- I thought
you might like to play with them, but now I want them back. You
didn't lose the bag, did you, Daddy?"

"Oh, no," he said, lying. "I just forgot to bring it home. I'll
bring it tomorrow."

While Molly hugged her father's neck, he unfolded the note that
had not made it into the sack: "I love you, Daddy."

Molly had given him her treasures. All that a 7-year-old held dear.
Love in a paper bag, and he missed it - not only missed it, but had
thrown it in the wastebasket. So back he went to the office. Just
ahead of the night janitor, he picked up the wastebasket and poured
the contents on his desk.

After washing the mustard off the dinosaurs and spraying the whole
thing with breath-freshener to kill the smell of onions, he carefully
smoothed out the wadded ball of brown paper, put the treasures
inside and carried it home gingerly, like an injured kitten. The bag
didn't look so good, but the stuff was all there and that's what
counted.

After dinner, he asked Molly to tell him about the stuff in the sack.
It took a long time to tell. Everything had a story or a memory or
was attached to dreams and imaginary friends. Fairies had brought
some of the things.

He'd given her the chocolate kisses; she'd kept them for when she
needed them. "Sometimes I think of all the times in this sweet life,"
he mused, "when I must have missed the affection I was being given.
A friend calls this 'standing knee deep in the river and dying of
thirst."

We should all remember that it's not the destination that counts in
life, but the JOURNEY. That journey with the people we love is all
that really matters. Such a simple truth so easily forgotten.

Five black men in purple dinner jackets & bow ties were found floating

today under a pier in New Orleans.

DNA tests later identified them as
The Drifters.

Is he on an Anti-Viral Drug? They have those now. It helped me once as I don't have a good immune system because of the Fibromyalgia. I fight it with every ounce of strength I have so I can get out now and then. As you see from the last pict. I was out. My sister-in-law who has Multiple Sclerosis has to take anti-viral drugs quite often as her immune system doesn't function right either. Anti-Viral is different than Antibiotics. O.K. I'd check it out. Are you sure it is the Flu. There are other things that have the same symptoms. Fever, Chest congestion, Aches in the joints, legs, excessive fatigue...coughing and not moving the fluid, Pneumonia, Bronchitus that can turn into Pneumonia. Congestive Heart Failure and so on. I'd sure find out. Don't mean to scare ya worse but this is serious and Please get him to a doctor. O.K?

Picture is Black sand Beach, Lake Superior, Gay, Michigan
Yes ...Gay has a bar. The name of the bar? The Gay Bar, of course!

Love ya...prayers your way. sis/bro
