CJ.. one of the things that may have been happening is that there is a maximum in size of any graphic of 1mb. You may have been going over that. Myself I don't care... but I only made the statment so that when this forum slows a way down the reason is in size of objects to be loaded.. One thing I did not know if you knew or not.. but each time a person makes a post or goes to another page.. the program loads the entire forum and all it's pages... so the more mega bytes you have on a forum the longer it is going to take to post and then figure the number of people looking at the forum at one time.. and each of them are loading the entire forum each and every time they go to another view or post... it sure makes the network work... the server can handle it without problem... I have lots of RAM there to find the things to load .. but its the total load going back and fourth between the server and all computers on the entire MarineChat.com..

Chuck, I knew about it going all the way back but not about the others looking and so on. Just never thought about it so thanks for the info. Yes...O'Boots and myself (yes, I know this is under usmc26ths name..I'm too lazy to sign him out...he forgot) like to experiment and try new things. I don't have the morph program that does like his but he has done a couple for me just as an experiment. It IS fun to experiment and try different things but now that you have shared some knowledge on this, I and of course they will be able to go on doing it but with a better understanding as to what really works and what doesn't work well. We are glad you enjoy seeing what's here and checking out our latest photos and so on and hope that everyone that comes here enjoys it also. It's a little break in the Forums - stopping to just sit back and look, not have to talk if they don't want to, and just unwind a little; even reminince a bit if we happen to do some old stuff. That's why we do it...not just for ourselves but for you all. And we keep hoping that others will come and join in with this and do some posting too. It don't matter if the photos are good, bad, torn or whatever. We welcome them all and we aren't here to be critics or pick apart anybodies photos. O.K? We Have been known (in fun and only in fun) to post back and forth with someone on a same subject. That is just in fun and in hopes the persone will enjoy the challenge and come back with more photos for all to enjoy. So let this stand also as a CHALLENGE to ALL of YOU OUT THERE to come on and just give it a try. We know a LOT of you have lots of photos to share. Family, Vacations, Special Times and Trips, Storms, just anything. COME ON...LET'S HAVE APOSTING GOOD TIME!!!!!!

When Cinderella Got Old

Cinderella is now 95 years old.

After a fulfilling life with the now dead prince, she happily sits upon her rocking chair, watching the world go by from her front porch, with a cat named Bob for companionship. One sunny afternoon out of nowhere, appeared the fairy godmother.

Cinderella said, "Fairy Godmother, what are you doing here after all these years"?

The fairy godmother replied, "Cinderella, you have lived an exemplary life since I last saw you. I'm prepared to grant you three wishes. Is there anything for which your heart still yearns?" Cinderella was taken back, overjoyed, and after some thoughtful consideration, she uttered her first wish:

"The prince was wonderful, but not much of an investor.

I'm living hand to mouth on my disability checks, and I wish I were wealthy beyond comprehension. Instantly her rocking chair turned into solid gold. Cinderella said, "Ooh, thank you, Fairy Godmother"

The fairy godmother replied "it is the least that I can do.

What do you want for your second wish?"

Cinderella looked down at her frail body, and said, "I wish I were young and full of the beauty and youth I once had."

At once, her wish became reality, and her beautiful young visage returned. Cinderella felt stirrings inside of her that had been dormant for years.

And then the fairy godmother spoke once more:
"You have one more wish; what shall it be?"

Cinderella looks over to the frightened cat in the corner and says, "I wish for you to transform Bob, my old cat, into a kind and handsome young man."

Magically, Bob suddenly underwent so fundamental a change in his biological make-up that, when he stood before her, he was a man so beautiful the likes of him neither she nor the world had ever seen.

The fairy godmother said, "Congratulations, Cinderella, enjoy your new life. With a blazing shock of bright blue electricity, the fairy godmother was gone as suddenly as she appeared.

For a few eerie moments, Bob and Cinderella looked into each other's eyes. Cinderella sat, breathless, gazing at the most beautiful, stunningly perfect man she had ever seen.

Then Bob walked over to Cinderella, who sat transfixed in her rocking chair, & held her close in his young muscular arms
He leaned in close, blowing her golden hair with his warm breath as he whispered..........

"Bet you're sorry you neutered me."

But not so funny locking keys in the car and so on and so forth. My sakes...did you spill salt and forget to throw a dash over your left shoulder or did you-all walk under a ladder or what? :banghead: :banghead: :k_crying:
About the Govt. sign-------------
We come upon this sign when we stopped and went down a two-track road to let the dog out to do her duty the other day.

Have a real nice time camping sis and enjoy your family. I'll keep posting here providing we don't go somewhere too. Pretty much staying in enjoy the air conditioner. It is 97 out right now and 4:28 pm. Probably setting up for some Thunder Benders. Humidity is like walking in water.

STAYD OUT 1 NIGHT TO DAM HOT TODAY 96 OUT. SO WE'LL JEST GO CAMPING IN THE HOUSE WITH A/C

CJ

It's 98 outside "in the shade" here and humidity is 87 percent. Sounds like good storm weather. Feels like 110. It's 68 degrees in the house where we are staying for only another hour than out to dinner. NO Cooking to heat up the house.

Maybe a jump in a river would be nice...where the water temp. doesn't warm up too much.

Bass, Pike, any others? We had some nice fresh Lake Salmon a week ago that a neighbor caught out on Lake Superior. One fillet was enough for us for three days. One dinner, one lunch (sandwiches), and snacks. We love FRESH fish. Not the stuff the stores sell that is mushy and smells, it is so old. YYYuuckkie!!
Be seeing ya soon. We'll do lunch! Only eight more days. Hope the weather is good. Love ya! sis & bro
