I'm new here and wanted to say hello. I'm from Savannah, GA and I'm headed off to Parris Island in mid March. I've been working out lately, doing pushups and situps, especially, running 1.5 - 2 miles currently and also huffing it near 10 miles twice a week or so. I want to be adequately prepared when I head off. I'd really like to cut down physical stress as much as possible in this time frame I have. Any ideas to add to my workout plan, tips, comments, ideas, etc?


(Also anyone have any tips on dealing with shin splints? I've been working through them for the most part, but cutting down a little on the frequency/intensity of my runs.)

dont worry about it your muscles are going to be broken down anyway.....work out yes go ahead but dont try to hurt yourself.....:salute:
