Well Gy this place looks mighty nice,you did a fine job. Hell I can even see my reflection on the wall! oh wait a second......thats a mirrior.

I got asked to leave the range,the top out there said I was using up too much ammo, damn I like to shoot!
He said he would call me next time they have a lot of surplus to dispose of.

I have been trying to locate Col. Gene, that man is hard to find.....could he be sniffing around HQMC looking for a star?

1st.Sgt. & Chuck Sirs: you can bust my chops all day long.. I know its temp, but then again it could be perm. Now am I just learnen the ropes and who's who, etc. or do I look take it in and work with it.. I did put some new chow in I did it my self.. or did someone forget where the Club house is.. no pun entended..

Nope ain't the CO. thats Larry's job.. I'm here to take his orders and guide this fine group through thick & thin, help out and assist were needed and work with our team or officers and snoc's, Nco, enlisted, active, retired, sick, wounded, etc. etc..

Ya know I hate to hear a grown man cry... :k_crying: ...I guess the XO don't get any respect and he feels like he's on the outside of the window looking in... :banghead: But sometimes that's the way it is............. :thumbdown .

As far as leading the officer's and SNCO's of this outfit.......what qualifies Mr Martin to lead ? :fingerwav Maybe when he was a Cpl he could lead a Fire Team, maybe. :thumbdown

But now he's suppose to be a 1stLt and he thinks he can lead men just by having a Silver Bar place on his shoulders for 90 days. :crackwhip

Well it don't work that way. :crackwhip The clock is ticking for Mr Martin. Maybe now the Co is back from the Rifle Range he can help Mr Martin work on his military bearing. :salute: :salute:

Been hearing the PLT Commanders don't think much about the XO.......Some say he couldn't lead them the a shitter burning detail without screwing it up. :banghead:

But them again, they should know about leadership as all the PLT Commanders are OCS grads and they know Mr Martin hasn't been to a formal school since Boot Camp.

Puts Mr Martin in a bad light. Well maybe the Co can sort this out with his officers.

As for me I'm off to the eclub to see what's going on.

its been a beautiful day here in southeast texas hot and humid just what the ols doc ordered.... i wouldnt have it any other way well as for the wieners oh well got to love them yes sir:banana:

To Whom, and all ..there will be food & drink for Friday night.. I have make arrangments to have steaks (40 1 1/2 lbs.) & shrimp (60 lbs.)
and all the trimings and lots of beer & spirits..(Chuck there 6pk of LT beer for ya) in the E-club.. for Friday 24th.

Well,I just got back from 8th & I last night. We saw the evening parade Fiaday night with the silent drill team....Damn good show, why Im thinking of unlocking one of my M-1's and see ifin I can flip it around like those young Marines!
1stSgt I gotta tell you first..........I went thru the metal dector and had to surrender my trusty knife, had to go to the security barracks after the show to reclaim it. We even had tickets from Gen.Nyland but it made no difference....felt naked not having a weapon.

By the way, while we were in the parade ground I saw some guest's on the Commandants balcony and damn if one of them didnt look just like Lt. Dogface! I thought he was at the range?


Ya, you can't get by with much hardware even at 8th & I... :salute: ...Hell every time i go into the Frederal building here in Albany, Ny and go thru security, I get pulled over and need to explian I have an artifical hip with about 12 inchs of metal holding me together. :banghead: Someday I'm just going to drop my skivies and show them the scare from the middle of my butt almost to my nee.... :fingerwav .....but then they might lock me up for striking..... :k_crying:

.You know Skipper you might have seen Lt Dogface at 8th & I becasue they haven't seen him at the Rifle Range for a week of so. The line officer at the range WO Cockeye, is getting a littled pissed off about Lt Dogface not being around to keep the detail in line. I think I'll call disbursing this afternoon and put a stop pay order on Lt Dogfaces disbursing records..........I betch he'll show up .........really soon :crackwhip
