Sir,
Good afternoon, nice office, you have some interesting Marine Corp items hanging from your walls. Dam looks like the Marine Corp Museum at PI........in fact I was there a couple years ago and saw many of these item in the Museum............I know you were at PI for a graduation..........did you visit the museum ???? Never mind, Sir, that 's not important.
I guess the Company Gunny needed to speak with you when I was on liberty last night checking out the problems at the USO in the town.
Sir you say we have a problem with Sgt Dogface ? Now I gave him a few orders on how to act in the eclub and explained we would not condem barking at the moon...........did he cause some problems in the club or is there another issue i need to be made awear of? Tried to got to see the Gunny this morning but the Admin Chief, Sgt I.M. Typer said he had to go to the Rifle Range.
It appears 2nd Lt Loverboy has got into some trouble and the gunny is covering for me out there.
So what's the issue with Sgt. Dogface, Sir ?
First, Have you seen my report on bush washing and related incidents?

Don't have a clue yet .. just picked up some scuttlebut that he has picked up some stamps with our names on them ...
As to PI you bet I saw the mussem.. very interesting .. I will be glad to tell you the story if you wish behind closed doors..
Good Afternoon 1stSgt Smith...
I thought it was time that someone from Regiment stopped by and said hello to you. I see you have a very nice office here. Damn you have almost as many items on your walls as your CO.
Nice clean floor... I like that. That log you have on your desk that some people call a swagger stick I assume is just a pointer for use on maps and the such.. I see you come from the old Corps. I have not seen one of those red door knockers for years. Has your CO approved it's use?
Your budget officer forwarded a request to re-open this years budget. That can not be done unless you are requesting a supplemental budget. To do this it has to go through the chain.
That chain I assume is the 1stSgt's Office, then the budget officer, XO, and the CO with 7 copies.
I ran into a Sgt Dog face outside. He said he still was looking for a duty assignment. Has he reported to the company Gunny yet?
It also looks like he needs a shave and a haircut. He was in my command when he was a LCpl. I wondered what ever happened to him.
If there is anything I can do for you my office door is always open.

First,
I had posted it on e-club message board
Here is report.
Good Morning 1st,
The mission was accomplished, the bus has been washed, waxed and detailed.
However a couple of glitches developed. It appears that Pvt. Huckup is very clumsy in addition to being insolent. While he was protesting my direction to shine the tires, he lost his balance and his nose struck the butt plate on my Remington 870P. He had to be taken to sick bay instead of reporting back to SSGT T.F. Nutt's brig. The remaining brig rats were returned to said brig
I am also afraid you will be getting a complaint against me by CWO4 Pudpuller.
Mister Pudpuller is the 3402 Disbursing officer. He was at the Motor Pool and objected when I addressed him as Mister Pudpuller and told me to address him as Gunner.
I advised Mister Pudpuller that all Marine Officers below the rank of Captain may be addressed as Mister and that only Warrant Officers with a Combat Arms MOS are addressed as Gunner and since he doid not have bursting bomb insignia on his left lapel I would call him Mister.
Mister Pudpuller advised he would put me on report.

I have not found the gunny so that I can report to him for duties. I hear that he is up at the rifle range where ever that is. That's OK. I'll just check in when I get back off my 96 hour pass that the CO gave me. I see all of the enlisted folks have a 96 hour pass. The CO is one hell of a officer to do that for us. And me I have not even had time to report in for duty yet.
Someone told me the XO was looking for me. What does he look like? Is that the Major with the stupid looking Captain that is always following him around?
If the XO ever stopped fast the Captain would have a brown nose.

WELL JEST CHECHING IN SAY DOGFACE YOUR SUPPOSE TO BE DOING ROLL CALL REMEMBER.. NEW MAN/WEMAN SIZING IN..
Hello Miss Joan
I just saw you walking past the e-club as I came out. I can not hold roll call. There is a very simple answer to that. I am not assigned to a unit yet. I'm a floater. As a floater I can not hold roll call.
See how I got out of that one. I'm on my 96 hour pass anyway and still have 78 hours to go. I've got to go meet up with my drinking friends. Last night we had the full moon. One hell of a party. And no I don't bark at the moon. That honor belongs to some of those Marines behind the wall at the Select Few and I can't go there. Every time I try to get in it tells me to contact someone. If I was to contact them they would know I was here and I would be put on duty or report.

I'm sure glad the 1stSgt is away for the weekend. I have a very important date and the gal thinks I am some body important.
Now I just wonder where the 1stSgt keeps all of his reserve clean shirts? He would never miss one and I would have it back before Monday morning. The cleaners is Open on Sunday. I need something with a lot of stripes on it.
No guard on duty! Maybe I can get into the CO's office. Now that would be a very import shirt.
Mumble mumble mumble... where is the key to the darn company office??... heck left it out in the pick-up... mumble mumble mumble..Ok got to my office ... J.C. and the boys... what a mess... looks like someone was in here ... what the hell.. nothing of any value... lets look at the repotrs and the training scedule for next week... "Holy God".. weapons is going to the the rifle range...who the hell is running the show... let me look something up.. Oh great ... S/Sgt Hicks..has not qualifed in 9 months.. thank god .. he is their Plt. Sgt. boy I am happy about that one he will be there all week to take care of thoes "Hell Raisers"... things have not changed the "nuts" are all in weapons... but they are all darn good Marines... it is just too bad the way the Marine Corps works that they can not have their own plt. duning training.. always detached. to the other plts, and they get no credit for really doing a tuff job...
Lets see what else do we have here ... field excerise on Tuesday to Rday evening .. how the hell are we going to pull this off with weapons on the range...Better talk to Top on Monday morning.. I am sure that we will figure out a way around this one... never fails... I wish these jerks in Bat. would get their stuff together..
Junk on the bunk on Friday ... Bat.????... men are in the field all week now an inspection??... Better talk to "Top" about that one too... I wonder why the inspection.. we have all our gear...
At least nothing out of the ordary has happned so far this weekend.. no one locked up yet.. thank god for the little favors...
Well I am out of here ... hmmmm where is the duty????... must be making his rounds... I will come back tomorrow some time during the day ...
I kind of wonder if the 1stSgt has the hidden keys to the duty jeep around here anywhere? I'm too drunk to walk and I have to get to my girlfriends house.
Too bad I could not find a extra shirt with a lot of stripes on it. I'll just have to wear a t-shirt. Now where would the 1stSgt put those keys?
If I can't find the keys I'll have to just put my thumb out. A Marine with wheels will always pick up a Marine walking.. or stumbling.. or even if I am crawling. I think I can still get around on my knees.
Got the duty book... could not find the duty ... guess he is making rounds... everything looks good...
Better leave a note for Top... as to weapons ..and transportation...
Lets see here
Top..
looked at the training scedule.. boy Bat has scrued things up again... would you please have transportation behind the squad bay for weapons plt. they have to go to the riffle range.. S/Sgt Hicks will also be with them that will keep them out of trouble.. Now we do have a slight problem this week it appears that we have a field problem from tuesday at 0800 until Thursday at 1530... we will not be able to do this .. we do not have our weapons plt.. they are on the range until friday ... We also are to be standing tall for an inspection... "Things on the springs"... we just had one a few weeks ago I think this is for C company not us... please call your buddy over there and straiten this out... I will not be here in the morning.. got another one of thoes darn bullshit meetings..
Thanks
Maj. G
Top I just arrived from Pendleton. You weren't here and I couldn't find the duty. Going to the club for a few beers and will checkin with you first thing Monday morning for direction.
First Sergeant when I arrived I stopped here and noone home. Went to E-Club noone home, so I went downtown and some of the locals didn't like my choice of music. I told them what they could do with the local attitude and had to fight my way back to the base. Can't find the duty. No body to get bedding from. No empty lockers so I guess I'll sleep in the rec room. This is a heck of a first day anywhere.

Cpl (E-3) Bugler
Itis now 1111 hours, I still don'thave a chow pass, can't findt he supply room, can't find the company office and it looks like the weekend continues. I've been on basefor 24 hours because I tried toc heck in early. Not due foranother 3 days, so I'll continue to camp out in the rec room til somebody shows up accting lik theyare incharge. This is a nightmare dontw ant truble rite on the bat. Gollygee
Cpl (E-3) Bugler
LCpl Bugler you snore. Even after a night of drinking and speeping on the other side of the reck room I hear you.
So, you don't have a chow pass. You don't need one. I have not been assigned a bunk yet myself. If your'er hungry you don't need a chow pass here. I found out that no one checks your pass. If someone asks for a pass just tell them you are down on special assignment from Regiment. They don't know any difference and they don't check. You want a drink? I've still got a part of a bottle of CC. Got it free from the eclub. They just up and gave it to me.
Dogface man am i glad i aint here along. wher do i find you. i dont no wher anythin is yet ?"
I sent a picher to somebdy to cumplet my signon. hop they get it
You have to send your picture to Chuck and he will get your picture on your posts. That's what I did. I don't remember his email address but I can go back and find it. Maybe someone else knows what it is.
I went over to the e-club and got myself another bottle. You want to hitch a ride to town with me. All you have to do is stick your thumb out and lot's of cars stop. Just tell them where you want to go. I was talking to one of the WM's that drive a bus around here. Said that everything on the base is free. You can go just about anywhere. Just leave your seabag in the corner.
