I am 27/ F in Rochester NH looking for someone to get me into top shape for Marine PT. Need someone long term and full time. Must be willing to do training scenarios (54hr). This will require overnights and weekend camping trips. I want to learn everything I possibly can to be as prepared for PT as possible. Need to be mentally and physically challenged. Camo, hand signals, drills, target practice and so on. I am not a girlie girl at all. Grew up in a Marine household with brothers. I used hand guns and rifles until 16 when I moved away from home. I can and will keep a schedule. Need assertive person to work with me. Due to the possibility of being taken advantage of I am not going to jump into an overnight. I have a family of my own and will be missed, if something were to happen. Ideally a male retired Marine who isnt currently employed and would be willing to do this only for the satisfaction of knowing you are training a future Marine. I have wanted to be a Marine since I was a child. I went to enlist when I was 16 with my parents permission and found out I was pregnant. It was prolonged until now, my kids are older and I am more than ready. PLus the age cut off is coming up on me quick. I have 14 months to get this done. PLEASE Help if you are able. Thank You! snewcomer22@yahoo.com (snewcomer22@yahoo.com)

you know you might have waited just a wee bit to long and by the way your requirments are a little lengthy but then again i would probably ask for the same!

Hello Jaymes..
It has now been several months since I posted in your forum. I have been a one legged hopper for the last couple of months. I hope that you and Miss Joan are doing well..
Near the end of August I was trimming a tree in my front yard will my wife stood by supervising.. I had climbed to the top of a 12' ladder and as I was trimming the branches off the tree I lost my balance and feel about 11 feet.
I had a chain saw in my hand that I was using to trim the tree.. I tossed it so that I would not land on it..
After falling the 11 feet I landed on my feet. But the left foot took most of the impact. Being at at the time I weighted in at about 195 lbs I fractured my left heal and ankle. The heal was shattered so bad that I had to have reconstructive surgery on it. Because of other problems like very large blood blisters developing I had to delay the reconstructive surgery for a month. The bones had started to heal but not correctly because the bones were never reset.. so guess what.. the doctors had to re-break my heal and ankle again.
The corrective surgery included adding a plate and nine screws to hold all the broken bones together..
Photo #1: Is a graphic of what the plate looks like that they used on my left ankle.
Photo #2: CT Scan of my left heal bone (It's in a lot of little pieces).
Photo #3: The third photo is a x-ray of my ankle taken when the operation was completed but I was still on the operating table..
Likes like from now on I get a free pass through the metal detectors when I travel because now I carry a home land security ID that identifies that I have a steel plate in my left foot.
Now that I am here.. where is the 1stSgt? Did he give himself time off again? He's starting to act like a SgtMajor.. or worse.. at butter ball 2ndLt.
Oh hell.. I was a 2ndLt once .. I don't know if I had more fun as a Sgt or 2ndLt..
But I can now say those were the good old days.
snewcomer22 as a field grade officer I have to agree with GyBill and ngrasmick. What you are wanting is never going to happen. Based on what you have said you must be in your late twenties..
And after having children.. I don't think you body could now take it.. Women can not take the stress as good as men do and the older you get the harder it is.

Ok Major Chuck,
I guess I have been pulling a little to much Liberty but who else is going to do it? :beerchug:Your all layed up with your ankle looking like the million dollar Man (hehehe).:thumbdown
You don't rate LIberty if your on light / no duty, thems the rules even for Field Grade Mustangs.:violin::Now I need a status report on you so I can have the Admin Chief make an entry in the unit diary.::nana:
You do know that CMC wants to know WHY THE HELL WERE YOU ON A LADDER AT 12 Feet IN THE AIR. You were not in the Air Wing------That's to high for Ground Forces--- Now I bet you wished you had a chance to go to jump school at Fort Benning , Ga back in your day, then just maybe then you could have landed on both feet with legs bent and rolled when you landed. But then again, at Ft Benning they don't have you jump with a Chain saw looking like Rambo from First Blood. hehehe.
I don't think CMC is going to have an investigation but the word is YOUR GROUNDED............Climb ing ladders has been taken out of your MOS......:crackwhip.....t he directive from CMC states in part :that your to take the chain saw and cut the rungs off the ladder and make the ladder a border for your flower beds.
The Chain Saw you have been directed to pack it up and send it to Company C, 2nd Combat Eng,2nd Mar Div, Camp Le Juene. Address it to Gysgt Wilson( My old Company Gunny when I was 1st shirt) and he'll issue it to the marines who have been schooled trained to handle this type equiptment.:fingerwav
Now the last part of the directive states:
As a retired Field Grade Officer you should not be handling equipment which is listed in the T/E for enlisted men.
But your getting a pass only because you were enlisted and CMC figures you still got some of that enlisted shit in your blood, but you only get one pass..That's it!:crackwhip
Good thing this happened before we got the new CMC.....you know he's a Air Winger, but since it happened while the CMC was a ground force type .you made out.:thanks:
Anyway, that's the Scoop......so take care of yourself go to Sick Bay for all your appointments and get well.....You do know we are a Few, Proud bunch of misfits...........Semper Fi:salute:
Sincerely,
1StSgt of Marines

Heck, just give him a couple APC's and send him back to duty. LOL

Major Chuck,
How do you get one of those
Home Land Security ID's?
Could use one for my hip .
1stSgt I have not gone through a TSA scanner yet since I still can not travel. But when I called Home Land Security I was told that If someone shows a card to TSA about an implant, they are obligated to view the card but it does nothng as far as getting anyone a shortcut to the screening process.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
So I guess I have a card that is worthless. Would you like to buy it from me?<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
