The Lord will not abandon his people. (Ps 94)
God, our creator, we have those moments in life where we sometimes feel like you have abandoned us. Yet, we know you are with us always, until the end of time. Help us to value the gifts that are all around us, to share the fruits of your presence with those we meet and to share the wonders of your creation with our brothers and sisters. Amen.
I will praise your name forever, my king and my God. (Ps145)
Lord God, your works are so wonderful and all your ways are awesome. Your mercy is unending from generation to generation. May you sense our faithfulness to your name and may we receive your mercy in our lives, as we strive to praise your name for ever. Amen.
Teach me your paths, my God, and lead me in your truth. (Ps 25)
Loving and gentle God, you show us the path of life. May your light always guide our feet as we walk the path that you reveal for us to take in this journey in life. Sometimes this path is easy and other times it is difficult. We ask for the grace to remain faithful to walking this path and when we need help to be humble enough to ask for your help. Amen.
Prayer for All of Humanity
I pray for all of humanity to one day feel the pulse of the Mother Earth in their feet as they tread. I pray for mankind to find the faith to believe in the messages carried by their dreams and to see beyond the visible world. I pray that everyone I come in contact with can walk away with much, or at least some, of the happiness that lives within me. I pray for peace, acceptance, and tolerance for all who express their love for the higher power (whatever that name may be). Most of all, I pray for an end to the violence and depravity that darkens many souls. Peace be with us all!

Prayer for All Who Are Abused
You chose, O loving God,
to enter this world
quietly, humbly, and as an outcast.
Hear our prayers
on behalf of all who are abused:
For children,
who suffer at the hands
of parents whom they trust and love;
for spouses,
beaten and destroyed
by the very one
who promised to love
and to cherish them forever;
for all people
ignored, hated and cheated.
by the very neighbor
who could be the closest one
to offer your love.
Hear the cry of the oppressed.
Let the fire of your Spirit fill their hearts
with the power of vision, and hope.
Grant to them empowerment to act,
that they may not be passive victims
of violence and hatred.
Fulfill for them the promises you have made,
that their lives may be transformed
and their oppression ended.
Turn the hearts of the oppressor unto you
that their living may be changed

Lord our God, we trust in your loving presence in our lives. As we live in an ever-changing world, our lives can be entangled in the chaos of moving too quickly. We are in need of your mercy especially in those times when we find ourselves caught in the spiral of chaos and negativity. Amen.
Spouses' Prayer
Lord Jesus,
grant that I and my spouse may have a true
and understanding love for each other.
Grant that we may both
be filled with faith and trust.
Give us the grace to live
with each other in peace and harmony.
May we always bear with one another's weaknesses
and grow from each other's strengths.
help us to forgive one another's failings
and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness
and the spirit of placing the well-being

The Lord is faithful in all his words and holy in his deeds. (Ps.145)
Lord Jesus, we strive to remain faithful to your words in our lives and to live in holiness, yet we sometimes fall short of this goal. At times, we are fragile and weak, and are in need of your mercy in our lives. In these moments, when we have failed to remain faithful, we ask for your forgiveness and mercy. Amen.
The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want. In green pastures he gives me rest, he leads me beside the waters of peace. (Ps. 22)
God our creator, in your infinite wisdom you created us. You show us what it means to be a shepherd, to care for those who are entrusted to us. Today we remember in a special way all of our military who served us so well over the years. We pray in thanksgiving for their lives and for their families. Amen.
Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way. (Ps. 139)
Lord God, you probe us and you know us, you are always by our side. May your presence be a constant reminder of your love for us. May you guide us along life’s path and lead us in ways that are fruitful and wise. Amen.

Lord, we see the wonder of your love in those who surround us in our daily lives. May we remain ever close to you by our times of silent reflection on your life and by our prayers. May these moments of prayer bring us to a deep level of gratitude for your presence in our lives. Amen.

God our Father, we give you thanks for the many blessings that we have received in our lifetime. In times of uncertainty, may we be reminded that you are a God of understanding and patience always ready to hold us in the palm of your hand. Look upon us and continue to give us the graces to live in true freedom, as we walk this journey of faith. Amen.
Your words, O Lord, give joy to my heart, your teaching is light to my eyes. (Ps. 18)
Lord God, as you created each one of us in your image and likeness, your words give joy to our hearts. May we always share this joy with others and be attentive to your teachings in our lives, for we are so much in need of your guidance in our ever-changing world. Amen.

Lord Jesus, your teachings and examples of the beatitudes give us great encouragement to reach out to those in need. May we hear the cries of those who are in pain, hurting and feeling so alone. We ask for your grace to be attentive to their cries and to respond in service to their needs. Amen.
The Lord says; my plans for you are peace and not disaster; when you call to me, I will listen to you, and I will bring you back to the place from which I exiled you. (Jeremiah 29)
Lord, you are the source of all that is good. In our lives, there are moments when we fall from the road that brings us to you. In these moments, there are times that our darkness and fear can appear to overwhelm us. May your saving grace bring us back on the road that leads to you and may we grow stronger in our trust of your presence and care of us in our journey in life. Amen
I am the light of the world, says the Lord. The one who follows me will have the light of life. (John 8)
Lord Jesus, you are the light of life. As we journey on this earth, we ask for the strength and courage to be attentive to this light of life in our lives. Help us to bear your Word to those that we encounter each day and guide all of us to be a reflection of your love. Amen.
The Lord is good to those who hope in him, to those who are searching. (Lam 3)
Lord Jesus, we are in need of your loving presence to guide us along our journey in life. In this journey, we recognize your presence as we search to find peace in our lives. You are our hope and may we always turn to you for guidance and strength. Amen.

Lord Jesus, on this day that we celebrate the tradition of Thanksgiving, let us pause to give you thanks for the wonders of your creations, for the gift of life, for the bountiful resources our world possesses and for your loving presence in our lives. We ask that you open our hearts to the concern of our neighbors and to those who are alone. We pray with grateful hearts for the grace to share your goodness with those whom we encounter each day. Lord, be attentive to those who call upon you this day. In our humanness our hearts can at times be like stone. In these moments, help us to rely on your forgiveness and mercy and give us the grace of conversion to change our hardness of hearts into gentle loving beings. Amen.

Lord, you are King of heaven and earth. Open our minds to hear your words, touch our lips to proclaim your words and open our hearts to feel your presence, so that we may be a faithful witness to your presence in our world. We pray that your graces will bring all humankind together in this world and that we will all be worthy to share a place in your kingdom for ever. Amen.
Prayer to Do What's Right
O Almighty and Everlasting God, Creator of Heaven, Earth, and the Universe, help me to be, to think, to act what is right, because it is right. Make me truthful, honest, and honorable in all things; make me intellectually honest for the sake of right and honor and without thought of reward to me. Give me the ability to be charitable, forgiving, and patient with my fellow men. Help me to understand their motives and their shortcomings, even as thou understandest mine! Amen.

Lord Jesus, we all have trials and difficult moments in life that we must face. Amid these times, help us to remain faithful to your presence in our lives and help us to spread your loving presence to those who seem to think there is no hope.
