Roger Alfano AKA theDrifter
It is with great sadness that I report to everyone that Roger passed away this morning. He had a few complications with his kidneys and liver and it caught up to him.

I talked with Ellie this morning and she and the kids are doing ok. She told me a story about Roger as they were taking him away in the ambulance. The fireman came in to get him and looked around the house. He saw all of Roger's Marine memorabilia. He told Roger he was a Nam Vet and said "Semper Fi"! Roger gave him a thumbs up.

He will be dearly missed by me and by Leatherneck. You couldn't have asked for a better friend or Marine. God bless Roger and his family.

The outpouring of PM's and emails and calls have been overwelming.....We have read everyone, through Our Tears,...Each and everyone has touch Our Hearts...but I can say there is one that Touch Us Deeply....RuthAnn's....Sh e does not know the inpact Nomad had on Roger...They only knew each other through emails and PM's, there was to be a day they would meet...but that time never came...I can say now they are together again, watching over the Marines in their Special Way....I have saved every thing that everyone sent me so, Please let everyone know that I will answer every single one...The next 2 days We need to spend with Roger...in Our Special Way...The last time, my head was spinning and could not think is the day I met My Beloved Husband of 26 years....So Warren Please disregard the rubbling if it doesn't make sense.....he is the Only One that could do that to me.....
