Robert M. Crowley, 48, of Palm Springs, CA passed away March 14, 2009 in Palm Springs of Cancer. He was born August 3, 1960, to John Crowley & Irene Crowley in Boston, MA. He married Kate Johnson on November 2, 1995 in Boston, MA. He was a member of the Laborer's International Union - construction. His various jobs included maintenance for DMV office in Palm Springs 2000-2004; The Learning Tree Center, Palm Desert, CA. 2006-2008; worked as a cook in many restaurants. He was a free lance artist as well as a USPS mailhandler & carrier. He was a lifetime member of DAV, Toys for Tots, Election officer for Palm Springs & a member of the Democratic National Party. Robert attended UMASS Boston, Newbury College, Boston, MA. He served in the US Marines from 1978-1982 as a Corporal (NCO). He is survived by his wife Kate Crowley, Palm Springs, CA. Sisters; Maureen Crowley, Arlington, MA., Theresa Connolly, The Villages, FL., Nancy Daale, Falmouth, MA., Joan Wilkinson, Warwick, RI., Kathleen Martino, Falmouth, MA., Kathleen Healy, Chicopee, MA. Brothers; John Crowley, Pembroke, NH., Paul Crowley, Dracut, MA. He is survived by his mother Irene Healy, So. Harwich, MA. Services will be private. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. The family requests that donations be made to
