Edward C. Brown, 77, Colts Neck, NJ

Edward C. Brown, 77, of Colts Neck, passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at home. Born in Montreal, Canada, he resided in Rahway prior to moving to Colts Neck 33 years ago. Mr. Brown was a Korean War veteran, serving in the Marine Corps. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a salesman for Robertshaw Controls, Carona, Calif. Edward was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Colts Neck.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Tracie Brown; a daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Mark Andras; two grandchildren, Jack and Emily Brown; and his beloved grand-dogs and cats.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Colts Neck. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
