Harry Daniel DiBiase Sr. USMC (ret), 69, Ridgeland, SC

Harry Daniel DiBiase, Sr., 69, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC. He was born on November 28, 1941 in Vineland, NJ to the late Harry DiBiase and Ellen Armstrong. Mr. DiBiase was a resident of Ridgeland, SC for 22 years and was formerly the Police Chief for Ridgeland Police Department. He was a 30 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps where he served three tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the FBI National Academy, Port Royal Masonic Lodge #242, AmVets of Port Royal, S. C., Fraternal Order of Police, Parris Island Rod and Gun Club, SC State Constable and a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Ridgeland, SC. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar and he loved his family. He is survived by his mother, Lorrene Marc Aurele of Portsmouth, NH; his wife, Grace Isabella DiBiase of Ridgeland, SC; two sons, Michael Douglas DiBiase of Beaufort, SC; Harry Daniel DiBiase, Jr. of Ridgeland, SC; one daughter, Lorrene June DiBiase of Ridgeland, SC; two brothers, Douglas (Cynthia) Maroney of Portsmouth, NH; Charles (Kathryn) Harris of Montgomery, AL; one sister, Denise Harris of West Palm Beach, FL and six grandchildren, Lloyd D, Michael A., Amanda N., Joshua Michael., Harry Daniel DiBiase, III, and Nicholas B. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Ridgeland, SC at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 with burial in the Beaufort National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC from 6:00 pm til 8:00 pm on Monday, June 20, 2011. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 pm. Memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 696 Jacob Smart Blvd., Ridgeland, SC 29936 Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements. (
