June 23, 1987 - Oct. 24, 2008

Delvis Luis Fernandez, 21, Sarasota died Oct. 24, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, Sarasota. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park.
Survivors include his mother, Nancy Cruz;
stepfather Edison Young, stepbrother Edison Young and stepsister Hazel Young.
Delvis graduated from Booker High School and joined the Marines Corp, serving in Iraq. He was just accepted on the Sarasota Police Department.
